How Caveres works

Measure to order,
under one roof.

One system carries the job from the office to the opening, through customer approval, and back to the order desk as a factory-ready record. Every step is built to catch the miss before it leaves the office, and to make sure the customer understands exactly what they ordered.

White-glove setup

Not another login and an empty backend.

Most software hands you a login and leaves the backend to you. Before your first on-site measure, we load your primary product lines, configurations, dependencies, min/max limits, manufacturer language, and the terms your own team uses.

Your techs open Caveres already knowing what to collect and which options are real—not facing another month of onboarding calls.

Office dashboard

Schedule

When a deal sells, the office creates the project with the details the field team needs: location, job number, date, and time. The tech sees it on their schedule, and you see every job waiting for measure and how long it has been waiting.

  • ✓ Daily field schedule for each tech
  • ✓ Project status and age
  • ✓ Clear tech assignments

Techs know where to be and what they’re doing. Jobs stop sitting unmeasured because nobody told the field.

Offline field app

Measure & configure

The offline app prompts the tech for every field needed to order while they are standing in front of the opening—even without a signal. Size and configuration limits show up on site, so problems get solved with the customer present instead of a week later from the office.

Before sign-off, a quick review checks the most common misses: order size against the opening, mulled opening math, privacy glass in bathrooms, safety glass, and brand, color, or glass mismatches.

  • ✓ Required-field guidance
  • ✓ Manufacturer min/max and build limits
  • ✓ Common-error review before sign-off

The tech gets it right where it’s easiest. Fewer callbacks for missing information, and fewer uncomfortable “we can’t build that” conversations later.

Homeowner clarity

Approve

Shared details roll up into one quick confirmation: same brand, all white, all clear glass, five single-hung and one casement. Then the app focuses the customer on the choices that cause the most friction—entry door swing, sliding door configuration, window configuration, colors, door styles, screens, and grids—each shown in pictures and plain English.

  • ✓ Pictures and plain English
  • ✓ Signed in the app, on site
  • ✓ Customer receives a copy

An approval you can stand behind at install. The tech doesn’t chase signatures, and there is far less room for a “that’s not what I ordered” remake.

Factory-ready record

Order

The order team receives a complete, legible spec with photos of every opening and the customer’s approved selections. Configurations that can’t be built are flagged before the order. Dealer language is converted to the manufacturer’s language—what your team calls a right-hand outswing, the factory may call a left hinge—before meaning can change.

  • ✓ No handwriting
  • ✓ No missing answers
  • ✓ No language mismatch

The order desk has something to check against, what gets ordered matches what was approved, and jobs stop stalling on questions nobody can answer.

Improve

See the status and age of every project, what is holding up measure or order, where costly errors originate, and what they cost. It starts with a baseline period that measures your current error cost, so savings are proven on your own numbers.

  • ✓ Aging and bottlenecks
  • ✓ Error sources and cost
  • ✓ Savings against your baseline

Get ahead of problems before a customer escalates, and keep pushing your error rate down.

Where it goes

  • 4.03%Materials and labor for remakes, return trips, and reinstalls
  • 5.04%Overhead waste, delays, and lost customer satisfaction

Why it’s worth fixing

Most of that is the miss that never should have left the office.

The remake itself is less than half of it. The bigger share is the overhead, delays, and customer goodwill a miss burns through after the fact. Your baseline period shows what it is for your company.

Catch it before the order

The cleanest reorder is the one that never happens.
